If you follow our facebook group, you may know I've been considering making a monster creator that's more friendly for importing and exporting, etc. It's bee nmy primary project for the last couple of weeks, and I've got a few preliminary screenshorts to share.

Still in development, but this is a preview of the "Secondary screen" for DnD4eCM. It uses a webserver, and can be accessed by the local machine, or any other machine on the local network. If you route a port on the firewall, it can be viewed from anywhere. I'm working on ways to hide or obscure monsters from the list, or not give their name, etc. So far, I've tested it on Firefox, Google Chrome, Android and iPod Touch.
It updates every 10 seconds, but that and the overall look (font, font size, background, etc) can be modified by changing the style sheet in the index.html that will be included.

Good news! With the Wizards release of the updated Character Builder today (12/21/2010), we've learned that no changes need to be made to the Combat Manager to accommodate characters created in the Online Character Builder. You may use the same "CB Load" button to import from either Character Builder.
